Annual Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival Returns

FREDERICKSBURG, TX- The Fredericksburg Jaycees are excited to announce the return of their annual Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival to Fredericksburg Marktplatz on Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29.

The festival will include many activities for the entire family including a variety of great Cajun food, live music, and a children’s carnival. Festival times are as follows: Friday 6pm to midnight, Saturday 11am-midnight, and Sunday noon to 6pm. Tickets for the festival will be $10 for adults on Friday and Sunday and $12 on Saturday. Kid tickets (ages 6-12) will be $5 a day. 2-day passes are available for purchase for $20 and 3 day passes are $25.

This year’s musical entertainment will feature Texas Country music artist Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Charlie Robison, Fred Rusk and The Zydeco HiSteppers, Bayou City Brass Band, Kaylee Rutland, and Bayou Roux.

Special guest this year will be the cast from CMT’s hit T.V. show “Gator 911.” Gary Saurage will be teaming up with his Gator Country crew to provide an educational and interactive show with some of his favorite gators.

The festival is organized by the Fredericksburg Jacyees, who since their founding, have grown to promote large fundraisers with all of the proceeds being used to help youth organizations, charitable groups, and those in need within the community.
