Gearing Up for the 8th Annual Windows on Texas
It’s nearly that time of year again in Fredericksburg. The annual Windows on Texas music festival is coming up this month, presented by Riba Foods’ Arriba! Salsa (www.ribafoods.com) and Texas Rebel Radio Network (www.texasrebelradio.com). For the past seven years, this four day music festival and industry conference has showcased some of the best emerging talent in Texas. The eighth year is going to be bigger and better than ever. Join in on Thursday, January 14, through Sunday, January 17, as they showcase some amazing Texas talent. The event will kick-off with Young Generation at the Auslander Restaurant & Biergarten and continue into the weekend at venues in and around Fredericksburg. Several showcases are planned all weekend long, culminating in a big bash with Walt Wilkins and friends at Luckenbach Dancehall on Sunday. The lineup this year includes Young Generation (San Antonio, TX), Blue Condition, Black Bone Child, Matt Harlan, Johnny Nichols, Fingerpistol, The Kat Moore Band, and Red River Madcats, playing music at great venues that include The Amish Market, Hondo’s on Main, Buc O’ Brian’s, The Auslander and the Hill Top Café. The wine of Windows on Texas will be presented by Becker Vineyards. Accomodations are provided by La Quinta and Fredericksburg Inn & Suites. Check texasrebelradio.com for the schedule. |
