Fredericksburg Theater Company Presents “The Man of La Mancha”

Join the Fredericksburg Theater Company as they celebrate another season. FTC’s production will be this five time Tony Award winning musical “The Man of La Mancha,” based on the 1505 novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. A special performance is set for Feb. 18 at 7:00 p.m.

Starring as Cervantes/Don Quixote is Jeryl Hoover, who is also the production’s musical director. John Hierholzer will play the role of Sancho Panza, and Amber Nanni has been cast as Aldonza. Curtis Regester takes the role of the Innkeeper and Matt Ward will be the Padre. Dr. Carrasco will be played by Kent Fields and Antonia will be played by Liz Tynan. Larry Kulken has been cast as the Barber. Pedro, the head Muleteer, will be played by Jeff Jeffers. Anselmo, the Muleteer, will be played by Henri Delobbe. Lynn Reichenau will play the Housekeeper. Cynthia England will play Fermina, and Leo Tynan will play the Captain of the Inquisition.

The supporting cast will include Bobbi Grimmer, Zane Phillips, Kevin Judson, Richard Last, Dick Ewing, Evan Kuklinki and John Eckland.

John Phelps is director and set designer. Ruthann Hoover is the production’s costumer.
