Since 1964, the New Braunfels Art League Gallery has been promoting the visual arts in New Braunfels and the surrounding Hill Country through education and exhibitions for local artists, teachers, and students.
Most recently, the NBAL has added the Visual Art Center to their already established galleries, which features work by outstanding local artists.
In addition to providing a place for local artists to showcase their works, the NBAL also offers reasonably priced classes for children and adults, offers workshops presented by nationally recognized artists, and has changing exhibits with prizes to local artists all in our historic building in downtown New Braunfels, Texas.
The members of NBAL work within the community to provide classes to the Alzheimers Unit at the Eden Hill Care Facility, exhibit a quarterly changed art wall at Chistus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels, participate in the Wein and Sangerfest, Trick or Treat activities presented by the New Braunfels Downtown Association, and many other community art-reach projects.
The NBAL is so much more than an art gallery. It is a resource to the city of New Braunfels and surrounding communities.
“Come see the surprising treasures around every corner and let New Braunfels Art League artists decorate your life,” Kathy Perales, President of NBAL.
