Come One! Come All! To the Very Best Pumpkin Patch This Fall!
| Menard, Texas | October 2011

Despite the hot temperatures we are currently experiencing, fall is just around the corner, and with it comes cooler weather, autumn foliage, and pumpkins!

Medina, Texas is home to a pumpkin patch that has made memories for families for the past eighteen years and as the fall season draws near, the Love Creek Orchard is gearing up for another one!

Families flock to the Great Hill Country Pumpkin Patch to experience all of the great family friendly (and fun!) activities offered there, including hayrides, scarecrow building, pumpkin painting, pony rides, games, and lots and lots of photo opportunities.

That’s not all, though! At Love Creek’s Great Hill County Pumpkin Patch, kids of all ages can enjoy a petting zoo, apple orchard tours, cider making, and processing apples on the apple line. Make a puppet, watch a puppet show, listen to a storyteller, or play an instrument in the Great Hill Country Symphony!

Come early and plan to spend your day at the orchard - bring a picnic lunch or enjoy food from the vendors on site choosing among hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, quesadillas, apple pie, pumpkin pie, apple ice cream, and freshly squeezed apple cider! Is your mouth watering yet?

After lunch, take some time to browse the gigantic selection of pumpkin so that you can pick out the very best one to take home. In addition to pumpkins of every variety, Love Creek Orchards also has gourds, hay bales, corn stalks, fall squashes, and gourds available for you to purchase.

The Great Hill Country Pumpkin Patch opens on October 1st and is open every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday thereafter from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is $5.00 per person and includes the hayrides, petting zoo, pumpkin painting (you buy the pumpkin and we provide the paint), tours and entertainment. There is an additional charge for pony rides and face painting. The first weekend, all active military families with I.D. will get in for half price! The Great Hill Country Pumpkin Patch is also open on Thursdays and Fridays for scheduled school tours. For more information call 800-449-0880. For School tour information call 830-796 -4447. Special birthday parties can also be accommodated. www.lovecreekorchards.com.

Love Creek Orchards is located in Bandera County at 13558 State Highway 16N, Medina, TX.
