Second Annual Bluegrass, Bluebell Festival Promises to be Double the Fun
All the Fun for Free!

Llano will celebrate Memorial Day with the 2nd Annual Bluebell/Bluegrass Classic Car Show and Festival May 25 through May 28 around the downtown Historic District. Highlights of the festival will be the Taste of Llano at the American Legion Hall on Friday evening sponsored by the Llano Chamber of Commerce and Family Night at the Thrills of America carnival which will be set up in Grenwelge Park downtown.

Free Blue Bell Ice Cream will be given away Saturday (while supply lasts) while nationally and internationally known bluegrass bands will perform throughout the day. Saturday will also feature a classic car poker run, and later that evening there will be a classic car cruise and a bluegrass jam session at The Badu House (sponsors of all the bluegrass bands). Sunday there will be Gospel music and the classic car show will wrap up with the awarding of trophies. Monday at lpm on the courthouse grounds there will be a full Military Mermorial ceremony. Vendors of all types will be on hand, as well as the carnival throughout the festival.

This festival has something for every member of the family. Plan to spend Memorial Day weekend in Llano... The Way Texas Used To Be.
