Enjoy the Cooler, Fall Season at Comfort Village Fall Antique Show
October 20-21, 2012 • Saturday 10 – 5 & Sunday 10 - 4

October in the Hill Country is resplendent as we begin to see fall colors on our beautiful Spanish Oaks, get a respite from the hot summer, and start to enjoy the cooler weather of the fall.

October is also the month that Comfort celebrates the 26th Anniversary of the Comfort Village Antiques Show. Vans and trailers loaded with goods will be arriving in town, ready to exhibit the best Americana antiques available on the market today.

We have been asked why our Hill Country Antiques Shows are so popular and, well, there are many answers to that question. First, our dealers make the difference. They arrive with smiles and knowledge, both of which they share with the collectors coming to the show. The hospitality of the neighbors and businesses in Comfort welcome them, and the true country setting is a treat from the hectic city shows. Our exhibitors are qualified to answer questions about the antiques they bring to the show and represent them with honesty. Since they are all collectors themselves, they share a love of antiques.

The show features Americana antiques including farm tables, cupboards, quilts, rugs, baskets, pewter, and many interesting surprises. We are also happy to have qualified dealers in jewelry, china, Indian, old store collectibles, advertising, and a few pieces of architectural and gardening pieces. The directors are also happy with some of the added antiques that are not included in advertising.

The public can sit under the large food tent, eat and visit, and discuss the treasures they are going home with. Decorators visit the show, bringing their clients so that they can see the wonderful collection and make the best purchases. The excitement expressed at the show reminds us of shows "of old" when people truly had a good time.

Meet us at the Comfort Park on Hwy. 27, attend the show, and then return to the community of Comfort for the historical buildings filled with great shops – many of which will have extended shopping hours.

The show is directed by Texas Presentations - Lori and Tommy Titsworth. For additional information, call 830-995-3670 or visit texasantiqueshows.com.
