Showcasing the works of the Canyon Lake Art Guild, Cathedral House Gallery is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibit “Reaching Out” with opening reception on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 2-4 PM. Located on the grounds of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, 111 Torcido Dr. in San Antonio, 78209, the exhibit will open with a wine and cheese reception. It will remain up through February 17. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

The exhibit will feature works of Lova Rose, Coe Savage, Sherry Humphreys, Patricia St. Germain, Shirley Bland, Marilyn Brinker, Patsy Sasek, Kathy Perales, Bette Holley and Roxanne Markline. A percentage of sales will benefit Episcopal Diocesan programs and the scholarship fund of the Canyon Lake Art Guild.

Cathedral House Gallery is a venue to give visibility to the works of artists who express a connection with God through painting, photography, sculpting, craftsmanship, and other media. Located at the Bishop Jones Center, the headquarters for the Diocese of West Texas, the gallery will host continuing exhibits of six to eight weeks duration, each exhibit in support of a particular Christian theme. Reaching Out conveys in works of art, ways in which we see God reaching out to us in ordinary, everyday ways.

Works in the gallery will be available for viewing and for purchase; the gallery will be open to the general public Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm throughout the run of each exhibit.
