San Antonio Boat & Travel Trailer Show to Draw Thousands to Alamodome

2013 San Antonio Boat & Travel Trailer Show to Draw Thousands of Water Sport and Outdoor Enthusiasts to the Alamodome on January 24-27

If spending more time enjoying the great outdoors across Texas and beyond with friends and family is part of your New Year’s resolution, then the San Antonio Boat & Travel Trailer Show is the place to be on January 24-27 at The Alamodome in downtown San Antonio.

The Boat & Travel Trailer Show, held annually, is timed for the start of the vacation planning season, as families begin making their recreational and travel schedule for the coming year. This year’s event is expected to draw upwards of 10,000 to The Alamodome, where top boat and travel trailer dealers from across the region will have models of all types and sizes on display.

For boating enthusiasts, the event will showcase fishing boats, wake board boats, kayaks, pontoons, runabouts, and personal watercraft. For those planning to hit the road for excursions near and far, vehicles such as fifth wheels, pop up trailers, and other travel trailers will be on display for an upclose look.

Other highlights of the four-day event include: Free education and safety seminars; kids’ catfish tank; ARMY Bass Anglers; Bubble Runners; and fishing rod and reel, golf card, and dock builder vendors.

The event is timed to accommodate families with busy work and extracurricular schedules, offering weekday and weekend options. They include: Thursday, Jan. 24, noon - 9 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 25, noon - 9 p.m.; Saturday, January 26, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; and Sunday, January 27, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Admission to the event is $8 for adults; $4 for seniors over 60; $4 for children ages 7-12; and free for children 6 and under. The event also offers $3 off adult admission with valid Active Duty/Retired Military ID.

The Alamodome is located at 100 Montana Street, San Antonio.
