2013 Austin RV Expo to Showcase Over 200 Recreational Vehicles in Time for Vacation Planning
Feb. 21-24 Event Offers Firsthand Look at the Very Finest in Recreational Travel
More families than ever before are choosing recreational vehicles as their chosen form of vacation travel, and some of the top reasons include the chance to enjoy the outdoors like never before, spending quality time with family, controlling your schedule every step of the way and, most importantly, saving money.
With thousands of boomers retiring daily, joined by younger couples seeking new vacation options, RVs are offering an economical and practical means of seeing the country from the roadway and creating memories along the way.
As families begin planning their spring and summer vacations, now is the perfect time to visit the 2013 Austin RV Expo, taking place February 21-24 at the Austin Convention Center. Visitors will get a firsthand look at the very finest in recreational travel, with over 200 recreational vehicles of all sizes and price ranges, such as: Motor homes, Pop-ups, Travel trailers, Truck campers, Fifth wheels, and Eco-friendly R-pods.
The event is timed to accommodate families with busy work and extracurricular schedules, offering weekday and weekend options. They include: Thursday, Feb. 21, from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Admission to the event is $8 for adults; $4 for seniors over 60; $4 for children ages 7-12 and free for children 6 and under.
