Chefs’ Unique Creations Featured at Milagro’s in Wimberley
| Wimberley, Texas | June 2010

Located at the junction of RR 12 and FM 32, Milagro’s Hill Country Tex-Mex and 1848 Restaurant and Saloon offer locals and those passing through a taste of the original. Open Sunday – Wednesday 11 am – 9 pm and Thursday – Saturday 11am - 10 pm, chefs for each cook up unique and palate pleasing fare that will have you planning your return trip before you take the last bite!

Owners Scott and Mary Sprague moved to Wimberley from Dallas a little over a year ago and opened Milagro’s on April 9, 2009. With almost 35 years combined experience, this husband and wife team have created a restaurant that is more than just food. The menu features a Hill Country twist on traditional Tex-Mex, with choices such as Grilled Tilapia with a cilantro pesto sauce and a blackberry habanero arugula salad on the menu at both Milagros and 1848. They also have a crowd-pleasing signature drink – Tequila Mockingbird. Made with blackberry liqueur, this special cocktail is getting rave reviews.

On Thursday and Sunday nights, patrons can enjoy live acoustic music on the deck, and they have plans to host more nights of live music this summer. Be listening! Lunch specials are served Monday-Friday; $5.99 for an entrée and drink.

The 1848 Restaurant and Saloon, opened one year to the day of Milagro’s on April 9, 2010, is creating a buzz with its sizzling steaks and to die for hamburgers. Still new, 1848 Restaurant and Saloon is still evolving, with features daily.

For events and large parties, Milagro’s Hill Country Tex-Mex has a special room which seats 40-45 people. 1848 Restaurant and Saloon offers an event center that seats up to 150. They also have a Beer Garden that can be reserved for special occasions on site and off site catering is also available.
