Run for the Hills at Race in Bulverde
“Run for the Hills” is the theme of the 13th annual 5K “Run/Walk for the Hills” event to be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Bulverde, Texas, just north of San Antonio. The event is sponsored by the Bulverde Senior Center and the race headquarters will be at their location, 30280 Cougar Bend in Bulverde one mile west of Hwy 281, off of FM 1863.

Second Annual Wings Over the Hills Returns to Fredericksburg
Area residents are invited for a naturally wonderful weekend in Fredericksburg at the second annual Wings Over The Hills nature festival at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park on the last weekend in April.

Wimberley Arts Fest Showcases Variety on The Square, Apr. 28
The fourth annual Wimberley Arts Fest will take place April 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on The Square.

EmilyAnn Theatre and Gardens
Perhaps the most magical place in Wimberley lies almost hidden off of Ranch Road 2325 just north of town. It’s the EmilyAnn Theatre, an outdoor amphitheater surrounded by several acres of gardens, nature paths, play spaces, secondary theaters, and memorials.
Remarkably, this place was built entirely by donations and volunteers- an outpouring of love by the community.
