Buggy Barn Museum is proud to announce the upcoming 3rd Annual Blanco Western Showcase on November 7, 8, 9, 2014 on the grounds of Buggy Barn Museum Complex. The past two years have been extraordinary, and we have appreciated the support we have received, especially from our sponsors. Uptown Blanco’s 4th Annual Quilt Show
Come celebrate the art and artistry of Quilting, yesterday and today, at the 4th Annual Uptown Blanco Quilt Show in Blanco, Texas. Hosted by the Uptown Blanco Textile Studio. The show will be held Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11. Annual Real Ale Ride Rolling Through Blanco
The annual Real Ale Ride, one of Bicycle Sport Shop’s most popular events, rolls through the scenic hills of Blanco on Saturday, May 17, 2014. It’s a ride for cyclists of all levels, with distances of 15, 30, 50, 65 and 80 miles. Routes are fully supported with rest stops that provide water and nutritional snacks for participants along the way, as well as “SAG” vehicles to help cyclists with mechanical issues or those who need help getting back to the finish line. Old Blanco County Courthouse Annual Fundraising Gala
In keeping with the spirit of the rich history of the Old Blanco County Courthouse the theme for the fundraising gala this year is “True Grit”. In 1986 the citizens of Blanco formed the Old Blanco County Courthouse Preservation Society to rescue the beloved landmark from being dismantled and moved.
