Star Party
7pm. Riverside Nature Center, 150 Francisco Lemos. Gerald D. ("Gerry") Griffin will present “Back to the Future-The Moon” for the adults while the kids are engaged in related activities and games. Mr. Griffin is the former Director of the NASA Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center in Houston. During NASA’s Apollo Program, Mr. Griffin was a Flight Director in Mission Control and served in this capacity for all of the Apollo manned missions. He was the Lead Flight Director for three lunar landing missions. Come hear Mr. Griffin’s fascinating revelations about the moon. Afterward view the beautiful night sky through telescopes provided by the San Antonio Astronomical Association.
