Spring Market Day & Chili Cook-Off
"Hot Chili & Cool Arts & Crafts." Comfort Park Pavilion and grounds, 4th St. and Main St. The town of Comfort is celebrating spring by combining two popular annual events at Comfort Park. Spring Market Day will feature vendors selling unique, high quality handcrafted items as well as ongoing entertainment. The Comfort Chili Cookoff, sanctioned by the Chili Appreciation Society International, Inc. (CASI), benefits the Comfort Volunteer Fire Department. It begins with the Cooks Party on Friday, April 1, at 7 pm. Showmanship judging is from noon to 1:30 pm. with a raffle and auction after the chili judging at approximately 6 pm. Sponsored by Comfort Chamber of Commerce.
