Soweto Gospel Chior Performance
7pm-9:30pm. First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Dr. Spiritual Sounds of the Soweto Gospel Choir will ring throughout the Texas Hill Country as The Rockbox Theater (Fredericksburg) and the First United Methodist Church (Kerrville) partner with the Kerrville Performing Arts Society to host this inspirational vocal ensemble. This ensemble provides a “rich choral interplay that is a reserved and cool passion guided through the 26-member choir and instrumentalists." This high-energy ensemble will provide a variety of selections that will seamlessly transition through an African traditional “Avulekile Amasango” in a medley with a Creole feel.
