Tom Orsak will present a hands on Acrylic Painting demo at the Llano Fine Art Guild, Monday, January 7th.

Tom Orsak has exhibited paintings and won numerous awards on local and national levels. He has also studied with renowned artists in developing his own style. Tom holds painting demonstrations and instructs workshops throughout Central and West Texas. "I paint fast and furious so I have found that acrylics can stay right with me."
Tom was born in Texas and lives in the farming community of Harriett just east of San Angelo. He enjoys painting the beauty and heritage of West Texas. His interest in art began at a young age while having fun sketching and drawing for his classmates. He studied art in Junior High and continued through college at Angelo State University in San Angelo. Tom had a distinguished career as an illustrator for the outdoor advertising market. After retiring in 2000, he chose to start painting again for personal satisfaction.
The demo cost is $5 and includes a potluck lunch at noon, provided by Guild Members. The regular monthly meeting of the Llano Fine Art Guild is held at 1:00 pm.
