Timeless Christmas

6pm-9pm. In addition to the Christmas celebration in the decked out LBJ Boyhood historic home located on Elm Street, one block south of Hwy 290 (Main Street) in Johnson City visitors can board a shuttle bus and ride to the Johnson Settlement, where they will be guided by lantern light even further back in time to the late 1860s Christmas frontier Texas and a visit to the frontier cabin of Sam Ealy Johnson. The Visitor Center will also be open for exhibit viewing and book/gift store shopping.

Christmas at the LBJ Boyhood Home
In conjunction with the Johnson City Community`s celebration of “Lights Spectacular”, the LBJ Boyhood Home will be open for lamplight tours each Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on November 27, December 4, December 11, and December 18. National park rangers will provide tours of this historic house and explain life in Johnson City before rural electrification. Read More
