Boerne, Texas, is the county seat of Kendall County. Boerne is home to 10,471 people.
Saturdays
8:30am-12:30pm. Herff Farm, 33 Herff Rd. Texas-produced, high-quality organic or natural foods and products such as vegetables and fruits, herbs, organic and grass-fed meats, baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, eggs, freshly prepared sandwiches and hot food, coffee and tea in bulk and natural beauty products.

7:30-9pm. Concerts in Main Plaza every other Tuesday evening during the summer. The Boerne Village Band is the longest continuously playing German Band in the world outside of Germany. Concert goers bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics.

Sundown. Main Plaza, 100 N. Main. Come out early pick your spot, get a movie snack or two and hang out and enjoy a free juggling lesson with the Boerne Gymnastics Center, moon bounce fun with the Boerne YMCA and meet some exciting new exotic friends with Happy Tails Entertainment! May 25: Puss in Boots (PG). June 29: The Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga’Hoole. July 27: Arthur Christmas (PG).

7:30pm-10pm. Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Rd. Bring a chair or blanket and a picnic. Enjoy live music under the Oak Trees at the Cibolo Nature Center.

7pm. Cascade Caverns, 226 Cascade Caverns Road. Every month Cascade Caverns hosts an extended nighttime tour using only flashlights in the Cave. The one-and-a-half-hour tour includes a Cascade Caverns LED flashlight and hot dogs (meat and veggie) beforehand.

10am-5pm. Main Plaza. Market Days has become synonymous with great shopping in an outdoor setting with artists, craftsmen and vendors showing their creative talents and wares to the background music of some of Texas' best homegrown musicians. Jewelry, plants, collectibles, antiques, and more. Great food with a local flavor.

5pm-8pm. On Second Saturdays the galleries and "Other Walls" of Boerne host joint openings. Come out and enjoy a glass of wine and the latest offerings on the Boerne Art Scene. Park your car and take the free trolley to see the "Best Art East of Santa Fe."
June 15-17
Downtown Main Plaza. Three day family oriented German heritage festival. Father's Day weekend. Friday night's festivities open with the crowning of the new Miss Berges Fest and her court. Music is provided by one of Texas' finest German bands, the Boerne Village Band, playing traditional German folk tunes. On Sat. lace up your tennis shoes for the 2nd annual Boerne Berges Fest 5K Lederhosen Run. Runners will travel down the historic Old #9 Railroad. Saturday morning is the Berges Fest parade traveling down Main Street. Head over to the main plaza where all of the the activities will take place. The events begin with the washer pitching tournament, egg toss, dachshund races, and a watermelon eating contest. Carnival with rides for kids of all ages. Music throughout the festival.
