Join us as we ride The Original Texas Star Trail through Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, Stonewall, Johnson City, Blanco, Fischer, Wimberley and Driftwood. Each year, about 300 people take part in the 107 mile ride. It's the experience of a lifetime, and one you will not forget. We cross 40 cattle guards through more than 20 Hill Country ranches, including LBJ Ranch-Ranch Road 1 of the State of Texas.

4pm-10pm. Marktplatz, 100 W. Main St. Proudly presented by The Hill Country Home Builders Association. There will be food, fun, friendship, dancing, silent auction items, raffles, and festivities to be experienced by all. We welcome your family to attend this event and join the merriment. The cooks' meeting begins at 10am and the Celebrity Judging will begin at 3:45pm. The People's Choice contest will begin when the doors open to the public at 4pm. The Award Ceremony is scheduled for 7pm, but don't think it is over just yet because a live band, "The Flying GT's", will play 7pm-10pm!
Fees/Admission Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to Marktplatz (cash only) for $10 Adults or $5 for ages 5-12 yrs. (Free for children 4 yrs. and under).

10am-5pm. Pioneer Museum, 325 W. Main St. Frontier-style family fun activities and demonstrations. Reenactments and storytelling of the Buffalo Soldiers and members of the Lakota-Sioux tribe. Each day is something interesting and different.
Fees/Admission Admission is $5 per adult and $3 for children 6-17, Saturday to Saturday, except Sunday.

10:30am, 1pm, 3:30pm. National Museum of the Pacific War, 328 East Main St. The program demonstrates weapons and strategies that were vital in the struggle for dominance in the Pacific theater in World War II. Re-enactors use landing craft, tanks, explosive charges, and even a flamethrower to explain and illustrate the equipment and tactics used by the American Army and Marines and the Imperial Japanese Army forces in WWII. The mock battle represents one such battle—the deadly struggle for island of Tarawa.
Fees/Admission $5 for adults, $3 for students. Free for children under age 6 and World War II veterans.
