10am-4pm. Fredericksburg Art Guild, 308 E. Austin St. A variety of yummy art to feast your eyes on, created by youth in the community. Closed Tuesdays.

A tradition in Fredericksburg, with galleries open until 8pm. Painting and fine craft demonstrations, casual art talks, opportunities to meet artists, special showings and entertainment. Experience the Fredericksburg art scene up close and personal while enjoying fine wines from local wineries and beyond all day long. Participating galleries are Artisans at Rocky Hill, Charles Beckendorf Gallery, Fredericksburg Art Gallery, The Good Art Co., Rodeo Studio Gallery, Uptown Market, Whistle Pik Galleries, Fredericksburg Art Guild and InSight Gallery.

10pm-5:45pm. Artisans at Rocky Hill, 234 West Main St. Join us for this premier showing featuring art by the students of Suzanne McComack of Heritage School.

Becker Vineyards and Lavender Farm, 464 Becker Farms Road. Watch a guest chocolatier at work and sample hand-made chocolate creations along with Becker’s new vintage of Merlot. Sat 10am-6pm. Sun noon-6pm.

10am-noon. Pioneer Museum, 325 W. Main St. Learn more about the needle arts of days gone by including knitting, crochet, quilting and embroidery. Enjoy demonstrations and even participate - all skill levels are welcome!

11am. Concert, noon. Gillespie County Fairgrounds, Highway 16 South. Drive-thru or dine-in and support the Fredericksburg Band Boosters. Enjoy good food and a multi-band concert and raffle.

11am-4pm. Rheingold, 334 Rheingold School Road. Cave Creek, 470 Cave Creek Rd Join the Friends of Gillespie County Country Schools Trail for their open house. Color coded maps of the trail are available at the Visitor Center at 302 E. Austin Street.

7pm. Hangar Hotel, 155 Airport Dr. Fredericksburg’s newest event is destined to become February’s hottest ticket with beautiful ice sculptures, vodka and bourbon bars, wine fountain, cigar suite, and that’s just the beginning. Everything will be transformed into a Winter Karneval, including, we hope, you! Hosted by Fredericksburg Area Lodging & Hospitality Association.

10am. Eyfells and Eyfells, 9068 Highway 290 East. Walking tour of sculptor Johann Eyfells’ 10 acre property which includes 3 exhibit buildings, outdoor exhibits and the showing of a documentary film on the artist’s life and work.

2pm. Torre di Pietra Vineyards & Winery, 10915 Highway 290 East. New this year at Torre di Pietra Winery will be an ongoing series of jazz performances, this month featuring the Trevor LaBonte Trio.

3pm. Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 N. Llano St. Presented by Fredericksburg Music Club. Recognized as one of the truly important pianists of his generation, internationally renowned concert pianist and Steinway artist James Dick brings keyboard sonorities of captivation, opulence and brilliance to performances that radiate intellectual insight and emotional authenticity.

Admiral Nimitz Foundation and the National Museum of the Pacific War, 328 E. Main St. As part of its Distinguished Speaker Series, the Admiral Nimitz Foundation will present an evening with Secretary Baker on the anniversary of the 127th birthday of Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz.

340 E. Main Street. Patriotic concert by the Fredericksburg Middle School Choir at 1pm followed by the cake cutting in the Ballroom at 1:30pm. Free museum admission for anyone sharing the same birthday; otherwise, admission to event is free.

9am-4pm. Hampton Inn, 515 E. Main St. Join us for a wonderful women-only event. Practical, playful insight to refresh your sprit and renew your life at our one-day workshop. You will be served a beautiful lunch and delectable dessert, with tea and coffee available all day. Presented by Sheila Sattler Kale and Lorrie Hess.
