June 8-10
Friday, noon-6pm. Saturday, 9am-5pm. Sunday, 10am-4pm. Tour lavender farms around Blanco. Visit the Lavender Market on the Old Blanco County Courthouse Square, 300 Main St., for vendor booths, music, wine and gourmet tent, and speakers' pavilion.
June 15-17
Downtown Main Plaza. Three day family oriented German heritage festival. Father's Day weekend. Friday night's festivities open with the crowning of the new Miss Berges Fest and her court. Music is provided by one of Texas' finest German bands, the Boerne Village Band, playing traditional German folk tunes. On Sat. lace up your tennis shoes for the 2nd annual Boerne Berges Fest 5K Lederhosen Run. Runners will travel down the historic Old #9 Railroad. Saturday morning is the Berges Fest parade traveling down Main Street. Head over to the main plaza where all of the the activities will take place. The events begin with the washer pitching tournament, egg toss, dachshund races, and a watermelon eating contest. Carnival with rides for kids of all ages. Music throughout the festival.
May 26
8am-4pm. 309 Saddleback Dr. Jewelry, Stained Glass, Handmade Wares, Paintings. 15-20 artists, 2 chefs, lots of food and fun. Look for signs on 29 at 301 in Buchanan Dam.
June 8-9
Burnet County Fairgrounds, 1301 Houston Clinton Dr. 2nd weekend in June. Produced by the Cadillac Rodeo Company and brings in contestants from all over Texas. In addition to the thrills of Bull Riding, Bronc Bustin', Roping, and Steer Wrestling, the event will have Mutton Bustin', Calf Scramble and the Rodeo Queens contest. Friday night performance will be followed by a dance/band featuring Tejano and Mexican music, with the Saturday performance to be followed by country/western dance/band.
June 8-9
9am-8pm. Burnet County Fairgrounds, 1301 Houston Clinton Dr. An old-fashioned county fair with judged exhibits of food, arts, crafts, vegetables, and more. Ice cream crank-off, kid's activities.
June 14-16
Stonewall Chamber of Commerce Hall, 250 Peach St. Celebration of Texas Hill Country and its peaches. Wholesome fun. Activities include the crowning of the Peach Queen, a community parade at 10am on Saturday, and of course, the exciting rodeo followed by a dance. Plus there will be great food and music. In addition, the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm at the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site on Hwy 290 E. will have special events planned throughout the day.
June 1
5pm-9pm. Rough Creek Lavender Fields, 401 Burnett Ranch Rd. Shop our lavender store and view our fields. Vendors, live music, wine tastings, and much more.
