10am-4pm. Yett Park. On US Hwy 281 2 miles south of Blanco, just 1/4 mile north of RR 32. Hand crafted items, antiques, hand-made furniture, wood and metal work, jewelry, candles, clothing, knives, and more. Chili cook-off in December.
August 27-29, 2010
Gillespie County Fairgrounds, 2000 East Highway St. This event will have working antique agricultural displays, including blacksmithing, antique gas engines, hay baling, saw mill demonstrations, static displays and children's activities and more. This show is in conjunction with the Gillespie County Fair.

Pecan Street Brewing, 106 E. Pecan Dr. Enjoy good food, hand-crafted beers, and live music on weekends. Entertainment and menu details online.

106 N Nugent Ave Dining Thu-Sat, 5pm-10pm. Hill Country pickers circle every Sun. from 6pm-11pm, open mic, everyone invited to play and/or sing, plus home style meal with beer and wine specials. Schedule at website.

5pm-9pm. The United Way of Hays County’s annual fundraising event will be held at Texas Old Town Event Center in Kyle. Includes a silent auction, as well as the opportunity to donate directly to the United Way’s education initiatives by participating in a bucket drawing. All contributions stay in the local community. United Way of Hays County has lassoed up some great restaurants to provide the food for the evening.

Life-sized, artistically rendered deer will be on display all about the Llano area.

10am-5pm. Several well-known women artists who have painted and critiqued together for many years invite one and all to their show and reception at the New Braunfels Art League Gallery, 239 W. San Antonio St. They call themselves the Brushstrokes Group and work primarily in watermedia.
