178 Landa Park Dr. Ten day salute to sausage ... a unique celebration rich in German culture and full of Texas fun. Since 1961, families have come from near and far to sample tasty sausage, strudel, pretzels, potato pancakes and other German/Texas treats served up by fun-loving folks. Others come to polka and waltz to good ol' oompah music performed by more than 40 different groups. More come to visit with friendly Texans dressed in lederhosen and dirndls as a tribute to the community's reich German heritage. Everyone comes to have fun at Wurstfest!
