Texas wild hogs are brought in for an action-packed day. Teams of two enter the ring, catch a hog (easier said than done!), put them in a burlap sack (much easier said than done!), and race to the finish line, Best team wins. Winners are awarded commemorative belt buckles. Thrills, Squeals & Spills! Fast-paced, action-packed day of fun and people vs. pig plays out right before your eyes.

A three day event held at Bandera's Mansfield Park consisting of tent camping, poker run, daily door prize giveaways, lots of vendors, food, field events, Friday and Saturday night live bands, D.J. music all day Friday and Saturday, bike show, tattoo contest, Sunday morning church service. Annual benefit cook-off, dance and auction to be held on the downtown Boerne main plaza. Proceeds benefit Miss Berges Fest Scholarship program. Along with the cook-off, there will be a silent auction, lots of kids' activities, entertainment, and great live tunes all day from the music stage.

Landowners and land managers can learn effective methods for managing Ashe juniper for range improvement, forest ecology and wildlife conservation during a Cedar Biology and Management Workshop. Participants will carpool to a ranch in western Comal County to see three demonstration areas cleared for different purposes and gain hands-on experience with tools and equipment.

Athletic bodies and contemporary costumes meet explosive Taiko drumming and innovative choreography in a show that has critics waxing lyrical about TAO’s extraordinary precision, energy, and stamina. The stars of TAO live and train at a compound in the mountains of Japan, reaching the highest level of virtuosity only after years of intensive study. The performers each bring nontraditional flair to the group by drawing on their diverse backgrounds: one as a hard rock musician, another a gymnast, and yet another as a composer. Market Days has become synonymous with great shopping in an outdoor setting with artists, craftsmen and vendors showing their creative talents and wares to the background music of some of Texas' best homegrown musicians. 9am-1pm. Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Rd. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department urban biologist Judit Green will focus on using native and adapted plants in this comprehensive landscaping program. She will offer design, installation and maintenance tips, and ideas about specific plants to include. She will discuss challenges associated with Hill Country gardening, especially dealing with deer in the garden. Participants will go home with a list of drought-tolerant plants that are attractive to humans, butterflies and birds. Many of these plants will be available at the April 7 Mostly Native Plant Sale at the Kendall County Fairgrounds.

9am-noon. Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Rd. John Kight, engineer, rainwater catchment and solar panel owner gives the latest technological information and the most practical advice. Learn about design and materials from someone who has done it himself! The Kight home relies solely on rainwater and uses no well or outside water source. Their system comfortably supplies delicious water for all household and landscape needs. Kight's grid tied solar energy system is tied to a battery backup and provides enough electricity for normal demand during fall, winter and spring. This system produces sufficient energy to power all of his appliances with the exception of the air conditioning system.

In addition to the common challenges of gardening, the drought and deer can be very difficult to contend with. This workshop will help you choose native and non-invasive plant species and explain how to establish them. It will also cover deer resistant garden practices, natural methods of pest control and garden maintenance that every Texas Hill Country gardener needs to know.

The Rose Cottage is run by Mrs. Stancliffe, a tightly wound woman who schedules her entire life down to the minute, leaving no time for a relationship. Her suitor and neighbor, the retired chemist Henry Mitchell, proposes every day. Mrs. Stancliffe continuously rebuffs his advances.

The race includes: 10-minute AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible in 10 minutes) of: 5 burpees, 10 box jumps, 10 push ups (hand release), 15 squats, plus 5K trail run for runners or 10-12K mountain bike course, then 100 kettle bell swings to finish. Time stops when you cross the finish line! Stick around to grab a catered meal, a shower, a beer if you’re over 21--all right here at the Ranch. Bring your camping gear and stick around for the night.

9am-5pm. LBJ National Historical Park, Stonewall. One of the premier rides in the gorgeous Hill Country of Texas! As President Johnson often told visitors to his beloved Hill Country ranch, "All the World is Welcome Here!" We want riders in the 4th Annual LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour to feel the same warm welcome and sense of Presidential history as those who came before them. 10 (family), 30, 42, and 62 mile rides available plus an 85-mile ride and, as in the previous years, Luci Baines Johnson will lead a tour of the historical landmarks on the ranch. The rides will start on the LBJ Ranch air strip, in quick succession beginning at 9am and the tour of the ranch will start at 2:30pm. The registration fee includes supported rides with maps, rest stops with drinks, snacks and facilities, SAG support, and a post-ride hot lunch.

First United Methodist Church, 301 North High St. The Sahawe Indian Dancers are members of Boy Scout Troop and Venture Crew 181 in Uvalde. The Ceremonials feature dances of the Southwest Pueblos in a 2 hour program. Dances from the Taos, Hopi, Santa Clara and San Juan Pueblos are presented. The elaborate costumes, songs, dances, history and folklore are enjoyed by audiences of all ages. They will perform 3 times each weekend, and it is a show to watch that is sure to be enjoyed by all ages.
