Grand Starz, 2401 Belle Plain. A fun-filled evening with action-packed thoroughbred horse races, door prizes, live and silent auction. You will have a chance to win something, place your bets, and show your skills. All proceeds go to benefit the children and families of Caring Family Network, a DePelchin Children's Center Affiliate, in and around Brown County.

Comfort is filled with clever autumn scarecrow creations. Scarecrows mimic nursery rhymes, characters of all types. Winners have signs posted in front of their businesses or in yards of residences. Scarecrow Invasion kicks off Oct. 15, 10am-2pm, in the Downtown Historic District. Music, live scarecrows, face painting, photo ops, pumpkins, cornstalks, and more!
