11:30am-1:30pm. Kick off the holiday season by sampling the delicious offerings created by members of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 403 State Hwy 173 N. Holiday decorative items & gifts will be available.
4:30pm-9pm. Begin the evening in front of the Courthouse with Children's choirs and a Living Nativity followed by an evening of strolling luminaria lit streets filled with carolers, musicians, cowboys and shoppers.
5pm. Gather on the banks of the Medina River at City Park to enjoy amazing displays of Christmas lights, Cowboy story tellers and local cowboy singers. At dark the Bandera Riverside Players present a Living Nativity. Then gather around the chuck wagon for hot chocolate and cookies. Bring your lawn chair.
5am. Gather at the statue of our Lady Guadalupe at St. Stanislaus and sing traditional songs to honor the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Coffee and pan dulce (sweet Mexican pastry) follows in the parish hall.
6pm. Perfomance of Aztec dancers outside St. Stanislaus Church followed by a special Mariachi mass including the dramatization of the appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Juan Diego at 7pm.
3pm. Christmas Caroling Bandera Style. Gather at the Longhorn Saloon for a Christmas Caroling Trail Ride around Bandera. Wagons available for non-riders. Chuck wagon waiting at the end of the ride for hot chocolate and cookies.
8pm-midnight. Presented by Dusty Britches and the Rhythm Ranch Hands and Arkey Blue. Enjoy good food, good friends and good music at the Silver Dollar. 8:00 PM. Admission is a new toy and/or 4 canned goods or nonperishable food items. Door Prizes & raffle.

1000 Main St. It’s all distinctly Christmas, distinctly Bastrop: the scent of pine, the sights and sounds of the holidays, reminders of past joys and new memories to warm your heart all year. More than 30 family friendly activities will mark the four-day weekend, all set in one of Texas’ most charming and historic cities, so unique that it has been singled out by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as a “Distinctive Destination.”.
Take a stroll through the path of lights and Christmas scenery in Bindseil Park, 300 Pecan St., as you go through Christmas in Blanco's Trail of Lights.
Solo jazz piano every Saturday evening at the Uptown Blanco Restaurant, 317 Main St., 6:30pm-9:30pm. Larry Natwick performs selections from the Great American Songbook. Repertoire includes compositions by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk.
6pm. 19151 Hwy 281 N. Buggy Barn Museum and Carriage Hills Ranch invite you and your family for an evening of chuck wagon food and a Christmas concert.

6pm-8pm. Uptown Blanco Art Center, 317 Main St. Try your artistic talent at decorative art painting. Wendy Watson, the owner of Wendy’s Red Door Painting Studio and Collectibles, has been teaching decorative art painting for over 20 years.
Dec. 7, Church of the Hills in Johnson City. Dec. 9, Blanco First Baptist Church. The Blanco County Community Choir, made up of singers from all corners of the county, perform an annual Christmas concert.
6:30pm. After the Annual Christmas Market Day on the courthouse lawn, enjoy a parade and evening on the square. Visit Santa and enjoy music in Bindseil Park. Buggy rides will be available.

10am-5pm. Kendall County Fairgrounds, 1307 River Rd. Three buildings of vendors featuring 100% handmade, handcrafted, homemade merchandise. Bake sale, food and drink concessions, scheduled visits from Santa, photos with Santa, children's activities, carolers, shopping & Gift ideas for all ages, door prizes, a holiday festive atmosphere and complementary holiday spiced tea.

7pm. Cascade Caverns, 226 Cascade Caverns Road. Every month Cascade Caverns hosts an extended nighttime tour using only flashlights in the Cave. The one-and-a-half-hour tour includes a Cascade Caverns LED flashlight and hot dogs (meat and veggie) beforehand.
9am-3pm. Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Rd. Join Texas Parks and Wildlife Department wildlife biologist Rufus Stephens and hydrologist and fluvial geomorphologist Bruce Cole for an in-depth workshop on streamside management techniques that reduce erosion, enhance wildlife habitat and improve water quality.

10am-5pm. Enchanted Springs Ranch, 242 State Hwy 46 West. Celebrate the holidays “Old West” style at its annual Cowboy Christmas. The day will be packed with an Interactive Nativity Scene, Carolers, Woodrow the Longhorn, a Pistol Packin Paula Wild West Show, a “Texas Night Before Christmas” Puppet Show, Tractor Rides through the Wild Animal Park, Happy Trails - Animal Interactment and Education, Kid's Playground, Arrest-A-Guest, Craft Tables (free ornament craft) , Cowboy Skits, Kid’s Races, Cowboy Santa, Christmas Music and a Decorated Old West Town.

4pm-8pm. Margaret and Stuart Coleman Depot Complex, 600 E. Depot St. All activities planned will be of little or no cost so that everyone can participate. Activities for the kids, photos with Santa, storytelling, mini skits, Christmas karaoke, yummy food and hot chocolate, and an Amazing Race type contest for ages 18 and up. The Santa's Sleigh 5k will also be taking place again this year as well as the photo contest. Local talent will be showcased and a movie will be shown. The ice skating rink is hightlight attraction.
After the fireworks gather at the Catfish Barge on CR 301 on Inks Lake. Parade begins 5:37pm. 6:17pm, bridge lighting and fireworks. 6:51pm, gather at Catfish Barge for food.
10am-dusk both days. 121 Main St. 33rd annual holiday kick-off celebration at City Park. Parade, carnival, live music, food, crafts, antiques and collectibles for sell.
6pm-10pm nightly. Christmas cheer radiates throughout the season! Food, fun, and holiday splendor await visitors to enjoy a spectacular display of twinkling lights illuminating Historic Stagecoach Park with various Winter Wonderland themes.
2pm-9pm. Hays High School, 4800 Jack C. Hays Trail. Holiday vendors will be set up throughout the main hall way. Silent auction items in the cafeteria. Dinner served at 5:30pm. Supports Rebel Baseball.
10am-noon. Inks Lake State Park, 3630 Park Rd. 4. Come hike with us every Saturday as we learn about the geology and cool rock formatuioons at various places in the park.
6pm-7pm. Inks Lake State Park, 3630 Park Road 4 West. After a brief safety and basic fishing skill instruction, children will get a chance to go fishing with a Park Ranger and a Master Naturalist. This is a catch and release program that introduces fishing to our youngsters. A limited amount of fishing equipment (including poles and bait) is available to check out through the Tackle Loaner Program at the park, or bring your own. Adult supervision is highly recommended.
8am-10am. Inks Lake State Park, 3630 Park Rd 4. Join us for a bird watching boat tour. Enjoy a light breakfast as we tool around the lake in our electric boat looking for feathered friends.
Dusk-8pm. 703 Buchanan Dr. Come on home to visit the folks at Christmas as real life families and organizations celebrate the holiest of seasons as their ancestors once did. Enjoy a Christmas cookie and some hot cider as you stroll along the luminaria lined path and see what it might have been like to experience Christmas in the 1800s. Decorated with boughs of fresh greenery and Christmas trees cut from nearby ranch land, the cabins of Fort Croghan come alive with the sights and sounds of Christmas.
6:30pm-8:30pm. Community Open House. Merriment abounds as locals and visitors step out on the sidewalks of a beautifully decorated downtown Camp Wood and walk through the doors of those stores and offices. Merchants serve up refreshments, door prizes and a lot of welcoming smiles as visitor meander through the stores visiting and shopping. Santa visits the downtown streets and will end up handing out goody bags at Holy Smoke Bar B Que.

Hill Country Community Theatre, 4003 FM 2147 West. By Walton Jones, David Wihl, and Faye Greenberg. Just in time for the holidays comes the long-awaited sequel to The 1940s Radio Hour. It's Christmas Eve 1943 and the Feddington Players are on the air. Join them live as they present their annual Christmas program. Step back in time, once again, to the golden age of radio as this show sings its way into your heart. Songs include A Coconut Christmas, That Cute Little Elf, and swing arrangements of many holiday standards.
1pm-5pm. Hosted by Texas H2Oasis. Rocking-Horse Fandango capps off the event 5:30pm-7:30pm for VIPP ticket-holders. The Barn Tour takes in five barns decorated for the Christmas season, following I-35 from Kyle to Buda. The Blanco County Courthouse, in Johnson City, glows with 100,000+ lights for a full month of holiday splendor. 9am. 29th annual. Blanco County Courthouse. Arrive early for social time with coffee and donuts. The Bikers Toy Run heads west and swings through Fredericksburg, then up Hwy 16 north through Llano to the small town of Cherokee, picking up bikers along the way. With Santa and a sleigh full of wrapped presents purchased through donations and proceeds from the Johnson City Pig Roast, the children of the Cherokee Home will be wide-eyed and smiling as Christmas joy is delivered and the motorcycle enthusiasts share a meal with the children and spend the afternoon with them to make their day special. Event open to all. Motorcycle encouraged.
6pm-9pm. Courthouse lobby. Garden Club's Christmas ornaments, crafts, post cards, bird houses, bumper stickers and local cook books. Proceeds support local non-profit organizations.

National Park Rangers will provide an open house and relive a 1920’s small town Christmas celebration in this decked out historic home located on Elm Street, one block south of Hwy 290 (Main Street) in Johnson City. Free. Complemented by stunning lighting display at the PEC, across the street.

6pm. Johnson City First United Methodist Church will put on its annual (over 25 years!) Christmas program. 5 free 10-minute shows per night; last show at 8:30pm. It is a show for all ages and a great part of anyone's Christmas. Bleacher seating. Children are welcome to pet the animals after each show. Nativity scene display in Church Activity Center. Free refreshments (cookies, hot chocolate and coffee).
6pm-9pm. In addition to the Christmas celebration in the decked out LBJ Boyhood historic home located on Elm Street, one block south of Hwy 290 (Main Street) in Johnson City visitors can board a shuttle bus and ride to the Johnson Settlement, where they will be guided by lantern light even further back in time to the late 1860s Christmas frontier Texas and a visit to the frontier cabin of Sam Ealy Johnson. The Visitor Center will also be open for exhibit viewing and book/gift store shopping.

Fabulous Sentimental Journey Orchestra at Kerrville's Inn of the Hills Resort and Conference Center. Ring in the New Year with the greatest music this side of Heaven. Rumba, fox trot, swing, waltz, tango, and cha-cha to the classic arrangements of Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Harry James, the Dorseys and more, as well as favorite SJO specialties. Reservations include reserved seating at candlelit, linen-draped round tables, complimentary champagne toast, party favors, and our delicious midnight breakfast buffet. Cash bars. Llano reflects upon the season and thousands of beautiful, colorful Christmas lights along the river. Come join us each night for a walk through the lighted archway that begins with hot chocolate and ends with Santa!
Christmas Home Tour, Market on the Square, and Lighted Christmas Parade. Downtown Llano. 10am-8pm. Vendors around the Courthouse Square, a driving tour of some of Llano's most beautifully decorated homes, and our lighted Christmas parade through our historic downtown. The first Saturday of December promises to prepare you well for Christmas in Llano! Come shop at the Courthouse Square for special homemade and boutique items, goodies for stockings, jewelry, and arts & crafts galore! After lunch on the square, grab a map for the Home Tour from the Women's Culture Club and marvel at the beautiful and unique decorations of some of Llano's most talked-about homes. Since you are in town anyway, stick around until dark for our lighted Christmas parade.
1pm-9pm. Badu Park. On this one day, Badu Park is transformed into a winter wonderland of white and fluffy fun for the family. Fun day for friends, family, food, and fun!

7:30pm. Brauntex Theater, 290 W. San Antonio. San Antonio 3 Tenors, Gli Unici, to capture all the dynamics and spirit of the Christmas season. Sponsored by the Downtown Lunch Rotary Club of New Braunfels, the tenors include Donald Braswell of Boerne, most well known for being America’s Got Talent 2009 3rd runner up, joined by Timothy Birt and William Chapman. The tenors have been referred to as Gli Unici–the only ones–because they come close to the sound of the original three tenors.

5:30pm. CTMC's Community Classroom. Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) will present its latest free healthy cooking demonstration, “Delicious Diabetic Dishes." The event will be led by the Dietary and Nutrition Team and will focus on diabetic-friendly dishes that everyone can enjoy for holiday meals. Attendees will learn how to prepare low-carbohydrate side dishes and desserts to keep their blood sugar and waist lines under control.

Vendors from across central Texas provide a shopping experience filled with antiques and collectibles, furniture, home decor, arts and crafts, jewelry, tools, produce, and much more. Make plans to visit historic San Saba.
Children can have their pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus while families take advantage of the downtown merchants' extended hours and complete their last minute shopping, all the while enjoying food and drinks provided by vendors, Christmas music, and San Saba's annual lighted Christmas Parade.
1pm-5pm. Features sites ranging from 1840 to 1920 with docents in attendance to greet you at each home. Tickets for the self-guided tour are available at Cascades Gift Shop, Gift & Gourmet, Keepers and the Seguin Chamber office.
10am-4pm. Seguin Coliseum, 950 S. Austin. Annual sale of handmade arts and crafts. Vendors from all around Central Texas will offer holiday shoppers gifts and goods in a variety that defies the imagination. All goods for sale are handmade or enhanced by hand by the vendor. Door prizes from vendors are awarded every 15 minutes.
4pm. Jackson Auditorium, 1000 West Court St. Celebrate the season with the Mid-Texas Symphony along with the Mid-Texas Symphony Chorus and the Community Music Academy Youth Choir. We'll spread some cheer as we play perennial favorites Sleigh Ride and selections from The Nutcracker. We'll also premier Carol Medley, an arrangement of beloved Christmas carols by our wonderful conductor, David Mairs. Tickets sell out quickly so get your tickets soon.

Dynamic duo of award winning genrebending, hard-touring guitarist singer songwriters will cut loose with a joyfully sizzling collection of yuletide tunes done in multiple music styles. Yuletide music, courtesy of the Community Band of Fredericksburg and Stonewall school students, adds even more enjoyment. As dusk turns to darkness, Johnson family members arrive and extend their holiday wishes, culminating in the lighting of a beautiful native cedar tree. Santa has always found time in his busy schedule to make an appearance as well. Join LBJ State Park & Historic Site, LBJ National Historical Park & Western National Parks Association for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Stonewall.
1pm-3pm. Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum, 100 Texas Ranger Trail. The museum, Friends for Life, along with Big 95 KBGO and Mi Familia Car Club, have teamed up to benefit Gifts for Grannies. Donations will be accepted during the event.
