7pm. Annual Sweetheart Dance fundraiser benefiting Bandera County Meals on Wheels. Sponsored by the Silver Sage Corral Senior Activity Center. Dine and dance. Live auction for Meals on Wheels. Admission by reservation only.
2pm-5pm. Next to Sonic Drive-In. Show your support (as well as your car, truck, or bike) as Texas Street Customs has great plans for the show lot as we grow.
9am-11am. On the third Saturday of each month. Open to all ages. Whether you are experienced, or a first-time angler, come on out and catch some fish with us! We have the poles and the worms, and a fishing license is not required while on state park property.
Solo jazz piano every Saturday evening at the Uptown Blanco Restaurant, 317 Main St., 6:30pm-9:30pm. Larry Natwick performs selections from the Great American Songbook. Repertoire includes compositions by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk.

15570 IH 35. Fish-Handling Station, 11am, 1pm and at 3pm. Learn how to handle your fish after making the catch. Kid’s Fishing Fun at the Cabela’s Stocked Tank, 10am-3pm. Free goodie bags for the first 50 kids each day. All equipment provided.
10am-noon. Inks Lake State Park, 3630 Park Rd. 4. Come hike with us every Saturday as we learn about the geology and cool rock formatuioons at various places in the park.
8am-10am. Inks Lake State Park, 3630 Park Rd 4. Join us for a bird watching boat tour. Enjoy a light breakfast as we tool around the lake in our electric boat looking for feathered friends.

11:30am-1:30pm. Interested individuals who know about the healing powers of plants that are native to this area, or persons wanting to know about them, meet to discuss those plants and herbs that have healing powers. Meeting includes a potluck meal. After the meal, gardeners go out to the community garden to tend the native medicinal plants. January focus is agarita. This group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month.
