Savor the sounds of our world-class musicians. Make it dinner and a concert at the outstanding Uptown Blanco Restaurant adjacent.
9am-11am. On the third Saturday of each month. Open to all ages. Whether you are experienced, or a first-time angler, come on out and catch some fish with us! We have the poles and the worms, and a fishing license is not required while on state park property.
8:30am. Join us for a morning of bird-watching. Bring your favorite breakfast, and meet at the wildlife viewing station. Led by a master naturalist, you will learn about local and migratory birds here in Blanco. Open to all ages, so come on out with the whole family. Be sure to bring your binoculars. If you do not have any, we have some to loan.
Solo jazz piano every Saturday evening at the Uptown Blanco Restaurant, 317 Main St., 6:30pm-9:30pm. Larry Natwick performs selections from the Great American Songbook. Repertoire includes compositions by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk.
9am-4pm. Old Blanco County Courthouse Square, 310 Main St. 3rd Saturday of the month March through November with a special Christmas Market Day in Dec.

Texas-produced, high-quality organic or natural foods and products such as vegetables and fruits, herbs, organic and grass-fed meats, baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, eggs, freshly prepared sandwiches and hot food, coffee and tea in bulk and natural beauty products.
10am-5pm. Main Plaza. Market Days has become synonymous with great shopping in an outdoor setting with artists, craftsmen and vendors showing their creative talents and wares to the background music of some of Texas' best homegrown musicians. Jewelry, plants, collectibles, antiques, and more. Great food with a local flavor.
5pm-8pm. On Second Saturdays the galleries and "Other Walls" of Boerne host joint openings. Come out and enjoy a glass of wine and the latest offerings on the Boerne Art Scene. Park your car and take the free trolley to see the "Best Art East of Santa Fe."
10am-2pm. Main Plaza. This community focused event provides Kendall County families of all ages with the opportunity to enjoy and learn about local services and organizations that are available. There will be entertainment and a lot of fun available for the whole family at this event!
A coalition of Porsche enthusiasts including some Porsche Club of America’s members, the Lone Star 912 and the Early S registry have been gathering in the Texas Hill Country for more than 10 years. They enjoy scenic drives and the many attractions that the Hill Country has to offer. The rallye is open to all vintage Porsche model years up to 1973 with exceptions for special post 73 models.
1:30pm-3pm. Boerne City Lake Park. Children of all ages are welcome. Multiple hunts scheduled. Free activities. Co-hosted by the Boerne Parks & Recreation Department, Boerne Police Officers Assn & the Boerne YMCA.
10am-4pm. 700 E. Adams St. Museum will present a special interpretive program at 11am. A tour of the caboose, plus the Lehnis Heart of Texas Model Railroad Club will be working on the new permanent model railroad layout and will be available for questions.
5:30pm-10pm. The Depot Cultural Center. An evening of fun, food, and wine. 100% of the proceeds benefit the animals at the Corinne T. Smith Animal Center. Includes a live auction and a silent auction featuring over a hundred items. Live music by Sun Duo.
11am-7pm. Brownwood Coliseum. The Empty Bowls Project of Good Samaritan Ministries is a community-wide event to raise awareness for hunger both locally and internationally. For a donation only, diners choose a hand-painted ceramic bowl and enjoy a simple meal of soup, bread and water.

10am-noon. Inks Lake State Park, 3630 Park Rd. 4. Come hike with us every Saturday as we learn about the geology and cool rock formatuioons at various places in the park.
6pm-7pm. Inks Lake State Park, 3630 Park Road 4 West. After a brief safety and basic fishing skill instruction, children will get a chance to go fishing with a Park Ranger and a Master Naturalist. This is a catch and release program that introduces fishing to our youngsters. A limited amount of fishing equipment (including poles and bait) is available to check out through the Tackle Loaner Program at the park, or bring your own. Adult supervision is highly recommended.
8am-10am. Inks Lake State Park, 3630 Park Rd 4. Join us for a bird watching boat tour. Enjoy a light breakfast as we tool around the lake in our electric boat looking for feathered friends.
9am-4pm. Burnet Community Center, 401 E. Jackson. Sponsored by the Highland Lakes Master Gardeners Assn, in conjunction with the Burnet Co. AgriLife Extension Service. Plants and supplies for every garden and so much more! Informative speakers, demonstrations, and a special children’s area.
Eagles Hall, 257 E. South St. 6pm free dance lesson, East Coast Swing. 7pm dancing to the music of the Moonlight Express Band. Theme is St. Patricks Day, dress is formal.

18301 FM 1826. Raise college scholarship funds for deserving local graduating seniors and to honor the life of Coach Keith Tuck and Sandra Tuck's eldest daughter Brittany. The day-long event includes live music, dancing, silent and live auctions, bbq luncheon, bbq cook off and many fun activities for the family. Featured musicians include Honeybrowne, Brandon Jenkins, Texas Renegade, Chad Hudson, Michael Myers, The Jerry Martin Band and Jeff Whitehead.
7pm-11pm. 18315 FM 1826. Dinner, dancing, casino, and silent auction. Proceeds benefit the DS Education Foundation, supporting academic excellence in our school district.
8pm. A re-enactment of the founding of Fredericksburg and the ensuing peace treaty with neighboring Indians with the inclusion of the German fable of the “Easter Bunny."
Participating art galleries stay open until 8 pm so visitors can experience fine art and true Texas hospitality along with special art exhibits and artist demonstrations the first Friday of every month. The National Museum of the Pacific War’s Pacific Combat Zone, 500 East Austin St., comes alive with tanks, flame thrower, uniformed actors and more. Presentations daily at 10:30am and 1pm and on Saturday at 3:30pm.

You never know who might stop by -- Reckless Kelly, Junior Brown, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Walt Wilkins, and Gary P. Nunn have all stopped by for a chat.

Interested individuals who know about the healing powers of plants that are native to this area, or persons wanting to know about them, meet to discuss those plants and herbs that have healing powers. Tabitha Hoxie, a-16-year old homeschooled junior, will perform Max Bruch Violin Concerto, G Minor - Opus 26, first movement. Tyler Neufer, a 17-year-old senior at Canyon High School will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Horn Concerto No. 3 in E flat Major, second and third movements.
22nd annual Peleton Bike Race. Watch as hundreds of cyclists race around the “Teardrop Loop” of Highland Lakes Drive and Boggy Ford each day, 8am-4pm. Food, drinks, face painting and a bouncy house for the kids. Community Kid Fun Ride on Saturday at 3:45 right after the pro race finish.

Five separate routes of 10-mile-family, 30, 42, 62 and 85-miles throughout the scenic Texas Hill Country. First United Methodist Church, 301 North High St. The Sahawe Indian Dancers are members of Boy Scout Troop and Venture Crew 181 in Uvalde. The Ceremonials feature dances of the Southwest Pueblos in a 2 hour program. Dances from the Taos, Hopi, Santa Clara and San Juan Pueblos are presented. The elaborate costumes, songs, dances, history and folklore are enjoyed by audiences of all ages. They will perform 3 times each weekend, and it is a show to watch that is sure to be enjoyed by all ages.

9am-5pm. Memorial Park, 337 E Main St. Tree shaded park along the banks of the quiet Leona River provides the perfect setting for an afternoon of shopping, music, and great food. Vendors provide an incredible variety of arts and crafts, plants, wearables, jewelry, collectibles, antiques, and much much more! Bring the family, sit back, and enjoy the area's favorite musical talent, eats, and bargains.
7pm-4pm. 601 FM 2325. First Saturday of the month from March through December. The oldest outdoor market in the Texas Hill Country and the second-largest in the state. We feature over 475 booths of everything you can't live without. Come stroll our tree-shaded paths, listen to live music and shop to your heart's content.
Old Oaks Ranch, 601 Old Oaks Ranch Rd. Every Saturday at 11am and 1pm, the ranch will be offering ranch tours to see the alpacas, sculptures, and fibers.
3pm-6pm. A year-round, producer-only farmers' market located in the thrift store parking lot, 14050 Ranch Road 12. Open every Wednesday, rain or shine.
6:30pm-9pm. Linda's Fine Foods, 500 FM 2325. Paula Held, an Austin-based songwriter performs, and showcases a variety of local and Austin-based musicians during the break. Local musicians frequently drop by to sit in.
8pm. Katherine Anne Porter School, 515 FM 2325. Join The Rep Theatre as we explore the question: How far would you go to get your kid into the right college? Richard Dresser tries to answer the question in hilarious and shocking new ways in his comedy. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. March 1-16. Seating is limited, so reservations are strongly suggested.

4pm-7pm. Eight to ten art galleries stay open late in and around Wimberley Square. Open 4pm to 7pm with wine, cheese, nibbles and lots of original art from the Hill Country. Look for the banners, stop at any gallery and get a map for the trail.
10am-2pm. King Feed, 14210 Ranch Road 12. All available dogs have been fully vetted; they are heartworm negative, micro chipped and they have been spayed or neutered. Puppies have been vetted, dewormed and had their shots. If you adopt a puppy from us, WAG Rescue provides a spay/neuter voucher through Emancipet.
10:15am. Fourth Wednesdays at the Visitors Center, 14100 Ranch Road 12. Come on out for a social whether you are new to the area or just wanting to meet new friends. The group is open to new & old residents--anyone that would like to be in a social fun group.
