November 8-9, 2013
The Eighth Annual Bastrop Downtown Business Alliance Veterans Day Car and Truck Show will be the city’s largest event of the year!  We welcome over 11,000 spectators and well over 250 vehicles each year.   It all begins on Friday, November 8, with a drive-in movie at dusk in Fisherman’s Park, located on the banks of the Colorado River.  Sit in your car, tune your radio to our drive-in station for audio, and watch an oldie-but-goodie on a huge outdoor screen.  Refreshments will be available. Registration for the car show begins bright and early Saturday morning, November 9, and continues until 10:00 a.m. This is a judged show.  Awards will be given out beginning at 3:30.  There will be a raffle, door prizes, great music, and lots of goodies.  Those registered will get a free t-shirt made especially for the event!
