Visit Brenham for the Holiday Home Tour and Trunk Show on November 20 & 21, 2010.
The Trunk Show is open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Home Tour homes are open from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

2010 Fredericksburg Holiday Home Tour Celebrates 75th Year
Fredericksburg’s 2010 Holiday Home Tour and Tannenbaum Ball promise to be even more special as the Gillespie County Historical Society celebrates its Diamond Anniversary year. The nonprofit Society was formed in 1934 to preserve and share the area’s cultural heritage.
One of the premier events is the annual Holiday Home Tour, where residents open their distinct properties for public viewing.

American Legion Memorial Highway Post 352 is hosting a Veterans Parade on November 13 at 10am. Vets and all other participants are welcome. After the parade, join everyone in Bindseil Park on the Blanco Square for a chuck wagon chili and beans lunch benefitting the American Legion post.

Christmas at the LBJ Boyhood Home
In conjunction with the Johnson City Community`s celebration of “Lights Spectacular”, the LBJ Boyhood Home will be open for lamplight tours each Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on November 27, December 4, December 11, and December 18. National park rangers will provide tours of this historic house and explain life in Johnson City before rural electrification. Read More
21st Annual Lights Spectacular, Hill Country Style
The 21st Annual Lights Spectacular, Hill Country Style will light up the skies with one of the largest light displays in Texas starting at 6:30pm on Friday, November 26 with the lighting of the Blanco County Courthouse in Johnson City. Comfort Crockery Celebrates Artisans
The historic Faltin Building, built in 1879 by Prussian immigrant Friedrich August Faltin to house his booming merchant business which included a bank and post office, is a Victorian Italian gem designed by San Antonio architect Alfred Giles and erected by historic builder J.H. Kampmann. Still boasting much of its antiquated charm, today the Faltin building is again open to the public, housing unique hand-crafted gems of its own.
